Akron Children’s Hospital Holiday Tree Festival
What makes a tree a family tree? Experience. It’s the soil from which family trees grow and stories are its fruit, and after a momentous year, the Foundation’s entry into the Akron Children’s Hospital Holiday Tree Festival was its most bountiful tree yet.
With help from our partner and champion, Akron’s own PowerMedia, the Foundation built a mural of this year’s championship experience. From LeBron’s teammates to the City of Akron, hand-painted basketballs paid homage to the people and places that made this historically unprecedented year possible.
A participant for the past five years, the proceeds from the sale of this year’s Championship Year tree and every year’s Foundation tree are donated to Akron Children’s Hospital.
