Hey guys,

Man, what a time! How are you guys doing?

I hope you guys have heard the awesome news about The I PROMISE School. It was important to me that you guys were told before anyone else. We sent a call to your families before we made the official announcement because you guys are and will always be a priority for my Foundation.

You guys are my leaders. The I PROMISE School is only possible because of the work you’ve done. Our focus for you guys is on the district’s academy model. Just as much work is going into making the academy model as best as it can be so you guys can have an unbelievable high school experience and beyond. Nothing is going to change; you’re all still my kids. Your experience in the I PROMISE program will only get better. We are working every day to make it the best it can be.

I feel great about the direction we’re all going and I’m excited to continue watching you guys grow.

You make me proud to be just a kid from Akron.
