Com·mit·ment [kuh-mit-muhhttp://static.sfdict.com/dictstatic/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pnghttp://static.sfdict.com/dictstatic/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pngnt]: the act of committing, pledging, or engaging oneself. It doesn’t take long to find a multitude of people in the city of Akron who live this out each and every day of their lives. We are proud to have one of those people committed to the Foundation: Patty Burdon. Beautiful, fun-loving, enthusiastic, radiant, amazing, glowing, loving, passionate… these are just a few of the many great sentiments our Foundation team had to say when they reflected on Patty’s work, dedication and commitment to the Foundation and this community. Patty’s commitment is not just to the Foundation but to a place that is very special to LeBron, his alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary, where Patty works and bleeds GREEN and GOLD with school pride. We don’t know if there is a bigger fan of LeBron than Patty, and she models what it looks like to be a champion of not just the students at STVM but the Foundation and our entire Akron community.
